Book of Revelation Overview

The intriguing Book of Revelation begins with an eyewitness account by the aged Apostle John of the splendors of Heaven as well as a captivating look at the seven churches that will span the millennia. Dr. Koole explains each church while applying their strengths and weaknesses to both the churches of today and the people who attend them.

As John continues to unfold the prophecy he was given, he tells of the opening of a special scroll, and the Judgments that God will release upon the earth. We learn that a day is coming when war will erupt in Heaven as Satan and his minions attempt one final and desperate overthrow. Meanwhile back on earth, Satan tosses his ultimate human agents onto the world scene—two men compelled to bring evil to a whole new level. The Tribulation boils over into the Great Tribulation, a time unparalleled in rebellion against God.

The Book of Revelation comes to a dramatic conclusion as Jesus leads a grand army out of Heaven to conquer the earth…and a time referred to as the Millennium is ushered in. In addition, we catch a glimpse of an amazing image of the New Jerusalem as it descends from Heaven. John ends the book with words of encouragement as Jesus reassures us with his promise, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
