MEMORIAL WEEKEND HAPPENINGS!

THE MISSION:The “6 Block Challenge!”…

When? You choose the time that works for you and your family.
With?  Your family!  We want this to be a family mission.
The Challenge? Commit to collecting food with your family in your neighborhood to benefit the less  fortunate.  We have been notified by ministries in the area that they are struggling to keep their shelves stocked.  We want you to be part of someone’s story, a Starting Point to the gospel.  When these ministries feed people, they earn the right to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Drop off?  Please bring these canned and boxed goods to Chapel Pointe from May 20 to May 27.  There will be places to put this food in the Gathering Area.
Our Part?  We will provide you with a flyer to bring with you as you collect food to explain what we are doing to help our community. Flyers will be available on the Bulletin Board.

SUNDAY, MAY 27
THE MESSAGE:
STARTING POINT: FINDING YOUR PLACE IN THE STORY

We will take a look at the early church in Acts 2 and see what it meant to live in a thriving, biblical community. We want you to walk away from this day thinking about how YOU can make an impact in your own community.

THE MEAL:
