United in Christ Ministries

About:  United in Christ Ministries exists to transform the Black Hills Community through the power of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, by bringing stakeholders (the church and the neighborhood) together in order to positively impact the lifelong sustainability of the neighborhood and to create an atmosphere that is life changing for the youth and families of the Black Hills area.

How can we help?

  • Saturday Morning God's Club (10:45-1:45):  Need small groups who are willing to run a Saturday Morning God's Club (an urban version of VBS) one Saturday a month
  • Tuesday Night Recreation (6:30-8):  Need volunteers or small groups who are willing to come share the love of Christ by hanging out and playing games with kids from the community in the Community Center.  This can be done on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.
  • Monday Night Academic Mentoring (6:30-8:30):   Volunteers must make a year long commitment and have the heart to really pour into a young person's life.  We would encourage you to come check it out and give it a try before making a commitment.
  • Golf Outing:  Each year we have a golf event and we are always looking for a "Foursome" to support the cause of what is happening in the neighborhood. If you have a group in the church that loves to golf, this is a great way to have them support the cause.  This year's Golf Outing will be held September 9.
