WHO IS YAC?
YAC is Chapel Pointe’s Young Adult College group. Some of us grew up in the church and some of us are new to the area via a local college or trade school.
WHY DOES YAC EXIST?
We exist to be a Christ-honoring, encouraging community for post-high school aged students. Whether you’ve just been introduced to Jesus or you grew up in a great church, we want to sharpen and challenge one another to dig deeper into God’s Word, to live it out, and to share the great news of the gospel. We are an extension of Chapel Pointe.
WHEN DOES YAC MEET?
Officially, YAC meets on Sunday night from 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm in Room 214 where we work together to become TRANSFORMED followers of Jesus, PASSIONATELY responding to God, ROOTED in prayer and EQUIPPING disciples. Unofficially, we hang out as often as possible.
WHAT IS A YAC MEETING LIKE?
We study God’s Word among friends where we aren’t afraid to ask tough questions. We eat. And we love a good competition thrown in the mix. It is a “come as you are and as your schedule allows” time with friends.
