We are committed to responding with passion and biblical care to those who are hurting, suffering, and in need, guiding them toward the love, hope, and healing found in God.
MINISTRIES
Care Ministry
About Our Care Ministry
At Chapel Pointe, biblical care means both encouragement and sharpening. We seek to meet you in your suffering—not to leave you there, but to help you move forward in Christ. This heart for care reflects the ministry of Jesus, who met people in their pain while also calling them to walk more closely with God the Father.

Our Philiosophy
Romans 12:12 shows us three key ways we provide biblical care:
Patient in Tribulation
We will sit with you in your hurt, offering biblical counsel, resources, and Christlike love as you walk through difficult circumstances.
Constant in Prayer
We are committed to praying for you—asking God to meet you in your suffering and bring true healing through His presence and power.
Rejoicing in Hope
We will continually point you to the hope found in God’s Word, encouraging you to praise Him even in your pain, knowing that real life and joy come from our Redeemer.
Meaningful care happens through real relationships. The more you are known, the deeper and more personal the care you will receive. One of the best ways to experience this is by being part of a small group, where you will be surrounded by people who walk with you through every season of life.

Types of Care
From counseling referrals to benevolence requests, we provide care in many ways. Click through the ways that our team of staff, deacons, and leaders seek to care for our church community.
Prayer Ministries | Rooted in Prayer
Prayer Team
At Chapel Pointe, we are committed to being Rooted in Prayer. Our church family regularly submits prayer requests, which are then shared with our Prayer Team. This team faithfully lifts each request to our Heavenly Father. If you would like to serve on the Prayer Team, please email [email protected].
Prayer Room
Another way we stay Rooted in Prayer is by offering live prayer during and after each service. You can receive prayer in the designated Prayer Room, or by approaching anyone wearing a teal lanyard. They are ready and honored to pray with you. If you would like to serve on this team, please email [email protected].
Grief Ministries | Walking Through Grief
Grief Team
Our Grief Ministry exists to offer prayer, support, and encouragement to those who have lost a loved one. Team members, gifted with hearts of mercy, are trained to provide care with the same love and compassion Jesus extends to us. This care includes regular contact, prayer, and assistance with any needs that arise. If you would like to connect with this ministry, please email [email protected].
GriefShare
GriefShare is a 12-week class offered throughout the year as part of our Grief Ministry. Each session walks participants through a series of lessons designed to help them process their grief, find hope, and experience healing in community.
If you would like to join an upcoming session, please email [email protected].
End of Life Team
The End of Life Team, part of our Grief Ministry, provides prayerful support to individuals in Hospice Care. Team members are trained to offer care through prayer, presence, listening, and compassion in a person’s final days. This care also includes regular contact and assistance with any needs that arise. To connect with this ministry, please email [email protected] or [email protected].
Widow’s Ministry
Our Widow Ministry exists to love, comfort, and encourage women who have lost their spouse. Throughout the year, the widows gather several times for support, encouragement, and to build meaningful relationships within a caring community. We also offer assistance with physical needs as they arise. If you would like to connect with this ministry, please email [email protected] or [email protected].
Hardship Support Ministries | Living in Hardship
Caregiver Ministry Team
Our Caregiver Ministry supports those who are actively caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, or similar conditions. While caregivers dedicate themselves to the needs of others, we want to care for them. This ministry provides a one-hour meeting where caregivers receive encouragement, prayer, and support while their loved ones are cared for during that time.

Hospital Ministry

Homebound Ministry
The Homebound Ministry serves members of our church family who are unable to attend worship services due to age or health challenges. Deacon Ministries | Congregational Care
As transformed followers of Jesus, we are called to care for one another. At Chapel Pointe, our Deacons serve as part of our leadership team, intentionally caring for those who are active partners in our ministry. They live out Romans 12:12—rejoicing in hope, being patient in times of trial, and faithfully praying for you.
Financial Assistance
A key characteristic of a transformed follower of Jesus is faithful stewardship of finances. However, we recognize that life circumstances and past experiences can make this a challenging area for many. At Chapel Pointe, we want to care for you by offering support through two distinct parts of our Financial Care Ministry:
Financial Counseling
We have trained biblical financial counselors who will meet with you to review your finances and budget. They will offer personalized suggestions and guidance to help you grow in faithful stewardship. To connect with a financial counselor, please email [email protected].
Benevolence
We also offer assistance through our Benevolence Fund for those experiencing a financial crisis. If you are seeking assistance, you will first meet with a financial counselor who will review your finances and make a recommendation based on the information you provide. To request assistance, please complete the form found at this link.
Additional Care
If you have care needs that are not listed here or would like any information about the areas of care listed above, please reach out to our team at [email protected].

Serve on the Care Team
We are called to live in our areas of spiritual giftedness. If you have a heart to encourage, pray, and walk with others through hardship, we invite you to join the Care Team. Together, we can reflect Christ’s love by patiently supporting, praying, and rejoicing in the hope only He can give.
