We want to deepen relationships with current Chapel Pointe missionaries and partners, engage with God’s presence in a different cultural setting, and participate in events to make disciples and multiply transformed followers of Jesus.

Where: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
Team Size: 8-10 people
Cost: $3,000 (best estimate before purchasing airfare)
Trip Focus: We will be partnering with ABWE and Live Global to work alongside a local church to provide medical care to Haitian refugees in order to engage them relationally with the gospel. This is a great opportunity for nurses, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and certified nursing assistants.

Nancy serves as the Director of International Healthcare Ministries (IHM) for ABWE. IHM personnel care for the ABWE missionary family and provide support to the various healthcare entities around the globe.

Prayer Requests:
This summer is full of activity: orienting new team members, training, conferences, and hosting interns. Pray for wisdom, energy, and fruitfulness in all of it.
Pray for an unbeliever the Caudills have been sharing the gospel with—that ongoing conversations and relationship would lead to salvation.
Live Global has recently undergone major structural changes to enable greater kingdom impact—pray for ongoing wisdom and that God would bring momentum (“tailwinds”) from these shifts.

New people are attending—one person came for the first time last week.
I recently helped a young girl get into university and shared Jesus with her. She had a dream of Jesus, we prayed together, and now she and her mother plan to attend our church.
Prayer Requests
Pray for those who have recently started coming to church, especially the young girl and her mother—that the Lord would bless them and draw them to Himself.
Please pray for the financial provision needed for car repairs and insurance (approx. $1,000), which are critical for ministry.
Pray for my wife’s dental treatment and healing.
The Sanford Family | Serving in Papua New Guinea
Progress is being made in resolving land disputes; leadership is stepping in to help.
After 4.5 years, we are finally returning to see family—grateful for the time ahead!
God has kindly provided a vehicle and an apartment for our year in the U.S.
Pray for smooth travel as we return to the U.S. for our first furlough.
In early August, leadership will travel to the Emegari community to ensure unity and clarity around a new land agreement—pray for openness, honesty, and resolution.
Pray for our family’s transition: that we would balance rest, family time, support raising, updates to churches, and staying connected to the ministry in Emegari.

VBS was a huge success—overflow attendance at the closing night!
Kids joyfully participated, singing in English and Portuguese, and clearly understood the gospel message.
Ênio shared how God used Dave’s encouragement to reignite his gift for children’s ministry.
Team testimonies (based on John 3:16) were deeply impactful in schools and churches.
A returning couple felt called to full-time ministry after last year’s trip—Arthur is now training to plant a church in Connecticut!
Another couple is sensing a call to serve in this region.
We received a generous gift to upgrade the church’s sound system.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for us as we fly to Ohio on Friday—logistically we’re not ready and emotionally it’s difficult to be away for 14 weeks, but this annual trip is essential to our ministry.
Pray for Dave as he jumps into a busy three weeks of new missionary training, the BMM annual conference, and a strategic planning retreat.

Several baptisms and faith commitments recently when Joy and I spoke at church.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for God to move powerfully at our youth retreat (July 4–6) with 35 youth attending (Christian and non-Christian).
Ask for God’s direction for Ella (just completed 2nd year of university) and Kiera (starting university in September).
Wisdom and open doors in a series of meetings with potential investors for Start to Stir (3 meetings in July, 1 in August).
