When Adam and Eve rebelled against God’s commands, the result was physical and spiritual death, separation from God, and corruption in every part of their being and lives. Sin is evil, iniquity, transgression, and disobedience of God’s laws, offense to God’s glory and holiness, and deserving of judgment from God.
