ROOTED IN THE BIBLE

James Bible Study

Let’s grow together in faith through the study of God’s Word!

Grow in God's Word

In our winter season of the Disciple initiative, we are working through the book of James together! Our team is creating a compelling, interactive James study that can be journeyed through in an off-site group or an on-campus interactive setting at one of our campuses.
The James study begins the week of January 18th.

Off-Site Groups

Off-site groups meet at a time and location chosen by the group leader, allowing for flexibility based on the group’s needs. Teaching content is provided digitally for groups to watch together and discuss in community. These groups are available in a variety of formats, including men’s, women’s, and couples groups, offering space for people to grow alongside others in a similar season of life.

If you’re interested in joining an off-site group or are a leader registering your existing group, please click the button below.

If you are already part of an existing off-site group, your leader will handle registration for the James study on your behalf.

On-Site Roundtables

On-site roundtables meet in person at one of our campuses at a designated time each week. The teaching is delivered live by a designated leader, creating a shared learning environment with consistent structure. Roundtables are offered for both men and women at all campuses, with an additional mixed roundtable—combining men’s, women’s, and couples participation—available at our Hudsonville location.

FAQs

What is the aim of our study of James?

Our goal is to create a resource that helps our people study and apply the book of James as we continue to be a church deeply rooted in the Bible. This study is designed to equip transformed followers of Jesus to grow through Scripture and respond to God.

When does it begin, and how long is the study?

The James study begins the week of January 18th. The full experience includes 10–11 total sessions, depending on your group or roundtable format.
