The Caudill Family | Based in Pennsylvania

The Caudill Family | Director of Live Global, based in Pennsylvania

Prayer Requests:

  1. A 7.7 magnitude earthquake recently struck Myanmar, causing massive devastation and loss of life. Had it happened just a month earlier, we would have been in the country and experienced it ourselves. We are grateful that all those we work with are safe. However, the physical devastation is immense—and the spiritual need is even greater. Please pray for wisdom as we assess how best to send in a team, and pray for open hearts to the Gospel.

  2. Our team is growing! We recently welcomed five new team members. Please pray for us as we onboard and equip them well for kingdom expansion and Gospel multiplication.

  3. Pray for us as we raise our children to know and fear the Lord. These are special years, and we want to enjoy them while also remaining intentional in discipling them.

Praises:

  1. After our travels—and seeing the disasters that have occurred during and since—we are deeply aware of the protection God has provided for us and our global partners.

  2. Praise God for the growth of our Live Global team!

  3. We are also grateful for the good health God has given our family during this season.

  2. We thank God for bringing two new people to our church.

  3. We thank God that our daughter is feeling well after her nose surgery.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Please pray for the people we are sharing the gospel with—that God would touch their hearts and lead them to accept Jesus Christ.

  2. Please pray for our church—that it would grow and bear much fruit.

  3. Please pray for our eldest daughter—she is serving in a praise band and searching for a job. Pray that the Lord would provide the right opportunity for her.

The Sanford Family | Serving in Papua New Guinea

Prayer:
  1. We have land agreement signing coming up on April 17th. This is for the land our church planting team will build our houses on in the village, and we are hoping to begin building mid-May starting with our coworkers’ houses. Pray that the land signing and the start of house building goes smoothly, and that we start off our move into the people group on a good foot.
  2. As a team we are struggling through getting house building materials into the village. It is a helicopter only location, meaning everything will have to be shuttled in via helicopter, which is expensive. We are considering different shuttle locations and house building materials to be the most cost effective. Please pray for wisdom for our team as we sort out the many logistics it takes to move into the bush. The move into a church planting location is known to be one of the most stressful and demanding phases during the church planting ministry.
  3. Pray for us to finish this term well. Our family has been in PNG for over four years, and we are looking forward to our upcoming furlough starting in July. We would not trade our time spent this term investing in furthering the Gospel in PNG, but we are tired and looking forward to furlough.
Praise:
  1. That the space the village marked for us should be able to fit our three houses and it seems to be in a good location for being connected to the community.
  2. It looks like God has provided housing for us during our furlough! This is a huge relief. Especially as we were concerned with the affordability of housing during furlough while also funding our house build here in PNG.
  3. The items we ordered roughly seven months ago for the interior of our house recently showed up. It encouraging to begin seeing the materials come together for our build. It’s been amazing to see God work out the timing for so many things. We ordered these things before even knowing where we would be moving to. We wanted to have the materials ready for when God would open the door somewhere for us.
